The Edinburgh Stereoscopic Atlas of Obstetrics

This Section consists of 25 stereoscopic photographs mounted on thick cards, with short descriptive letter-press above each. Ths series includes photographs of the ScotioRachitic and acromegalic giant pelves, of the gravid uterus at various periods of gestation from the third week to the eighth month and a series of views illustrating the normal anatomy of the female pelvis and of the internal or external organs of generation. The photographs are most beautifully executed, but some of the subjects do not readily lend themselves to this form of illustration and certain of tho pictures, as for example the ones of the external organs of generation, really shows but little; in others however such as those illustrating the pelvic deformities or the method of measuring the conjugate diameter of the pelvis, the special points are clearly brought out in
